These terms apply to the AntShot browser extension and AntShot Pro licenses, provided by PENG XU ("we"). By installing the extension or buying a license, you agree to them.

What AntShot is

AntShot is a browser extension for Chrome and Edge that captures screenshots of web pages, your desktop or other app windows, and lets you annotate them and save them as images or PDFs. AntShot has no AI features. It does not generate text, replies, images or video.

The free version

You may use the free features of AntShot at no cost, for personal or commercial work.

Pro licenses

• A Pro license unlocks the Pro features for one person. One license key can be active on up to 3 devices at the same time. You can deactivate a device in the extension's settings to move the key to another device.
• Yearly licenses ($19 per year) renew automatically every year until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in AntShot (Settings, then Pro, then "Manage subscription") or in the Creem customer portal. After cancellation, Pro stays active until the end of the paid year.
• Lifetime licenses ($39, one-time payment) are paid once and include all future updates of AntShot for as long as we offer it.
• Both plans unlock the same Pro features. The full list is on the pricing section of our home page.
• The extension checks the license online every few days. If it cannot reach the license server for more than 14 days, Pro pauses until the next successful check.
• If we ever stop offering AntShot, we will publish a final update that lets existing paid licenses keep working without the online check.
• The free trial lasts 7 days, once per installation, and does not require payment details.

Payment

Payments are processed by Creem, our merchant of record, under Creem's buyer terms. Prices include any taxes that apply, such as VAT or sales tax, so the price you see at checkout is the price you pay.

Acceptable use

• Use AntShot only for lawful purposes.
• Do not use AntShot to capture or share content you are not allowed to copy, or to violate other people's privacy.
• Do not share your license key beyond the device limit, resell it, or try to bypass the license check.

You are responsible for the screenshots you take and share.

Your content

Your screenshots belong to you. They are stored on your device, and we have no access to them. Back up anything important: if you clear your browser data or uninstall the extension, the history is deleted.

Disclaimer

AntShot is provided "as is". We work to keep it reliable, but we do not guarantee it will be free of errors or work on every website. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will post the new version on this page with a new date. If a change reduces your rights under a paid license, it will not apply to the period you have already paid for.
